Seven Minute Gospel

An Exhortation

God loves the world a lot. He sent His only Son Jesus to save humanity. By sending Jesus, God showed us how much He loves us.

Our lives are separated from God, and it shows in how we live. All mankind had this sickness that affected our thoughts, actions, speech and behavior. This sickness is killing us! And there is nothing we can do to be healed.

Then we heard this message about God’s love for us in Jesus Christ. And this message began to change us on the inside. By God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, God began turning our hearts to Him. God was the only one who can reverse this sickness.

Jesus came to earth. He went to the cross and took on the wrong things we have done to make our relationship right with God. His resurrection is evidence of His power to heal and rescue us. Jesus set us free from harm and the separation from God. We could never overcome without Jesus.

Jesus reversed the damage of our sickness. Jesus saved us from our old ways of thinking, believing and behaving. There is nothing we could ever do to heal or recover from the sickness and separation from God. We could do nothing to heal ourselves. And Jesus stepped into time and space and did it all for us.

The way to receive God’s love and rescue by Jesus is faith! Truly trusting what Jesus says and did. True faith moves us to action that is seen through obeying His word.
